SportWizzard vs OpticOdds (2026)
OpticOdds is enterprise odds infrastructure — real-time push feeds, deep coverage, sales-assisted onboarding, unpublished pricing. SportWizzard is the self-serve alternative: free keys in minutes, public pricing, 35+ sources including 13 DFS pick'em apps, and computed edges, arbitrage, and fair value for model builders.

Where OpticOdds is genuinely better
If you're an operator or a trading desk, OpticOdds is built for you: low-latency push delivery, very deep sportsbook and player-prop coverage, injury and settlement data, and the contractual SLAs a business at that scale needs. A procurement process and custom pricing are features, not bugs, at that tier — SportWizzard doesn't compete for that buyer today.
Where SportWizzard is different
SportWizzard optimizes for time-to-first-request. Keys are self-serve and free — an AI coding agent can sign its user up, read llms.txt, and be pulling live odds inside a session, no sales call. Coverage includes the 13 DFS pick'em apps (PrizePicks, Underdog, and more) that enterprise feeds don't prioritize, plus computed DFS edges, cross-book arbitrage, and no-vig fair value so you don't have to rebuild that layer. There's a hosted MCP server at mcp.sportwizzard.com/mcp serving live data. Honest caveats: pull-based REST (no push streams), a newer product from a small team, and billing enforcement is coming.
